Built by people who get it
Half our team comes from travel agencies. The other half builds the technology. Together, we make a platform that actually understands the problem.
Leadership
The people who'd still be doing this even if nobody paid them.
Rehman Ali
Founder & CEO
Dubai, UAE · Strategy, Product & Engineering
Founder, owner, and operator of Flylop LLC and TravelDocx. Incorporated the company in 2022 in Wyoming and built the platform from Dubai. Leads product, engineering, and day-to-day operations.
Omar Al-Rashid
Co-Founder & Founding Investor
Dubai, UAE · Capital & Advisory
Co-founded Flylop LLC alongside Rehman Ali in 2022, providing the founding capital and continued backing that funded the company's earliest product development. Remains an investor and advisor; not involved in day-to-day operations.
Priya Sharma
Chief Technology Officer
Dubai, UAE · Platform & Engineering
15 years in distributed systems, previously at Careem and a fintech startup that got acquired. Obsessed with making complex workflows feel like they take zero effort. Rewrote the entire document engine twice because the first two versions 'weren't fast enough.'
Khalid Nasser
Head of Operations
Dubai, UAE · Operations & Compliance
Ran visa processing for one of the largest travel agencies in the GCC before joining TravelDocx. Knows every consulate's unwritten rules, preferred formatting, and pet peeves. The team calls him 'the embassy whisperer.'
Sarah Chen

Product background at Grab and Agoda. Joined after using TravelDocx as a customer and sending a 2,000-word email about everything that could be improved. Was offered the job the next day.

How we work
Not inspirational poster stuff. Things we actually argue about in meetings.
Boring Gets Approved
We don't try to be creative with visa documents. Consulates want consistency, precision, and zero surprises. We deliver exactly that.
The Agency Comes First
Every feature we ship is measured by one question: does this make the agency's job easier? If the answer isn't obvious, we don't ship it.
Own the Mistake
When something goes wrong — and it does — we don't hide behind process. We fix it, tell the agency what happened, and make sure it doesn't happen again.
Ship It, Then Perfect It
We'd rather put something useful in front of agencies this week than something perfect next quarter. Speed matters when someone's appointment is in 5 days.
“Most travel tech companies are built by people who've never stood in a visa line. We have. That's the whole difference.”
Rehman Ali — Founder & CEO, TravelDocx
